The AWL’s mission is to help undergraduate and post-graduate students, researchers, faculty, and staff to overcome any academic writing challenges they encounter during the writing process. The AWL encourages writers to develop their academic voice and writing abilities in order to become independent and effective writers.
The AWL deals with all types of writing including research papers, abstracts, presentations, grant proposals, application essays, resumes, and cover letters.
Consultations, courses, and workshops are based on collaboration, dialog engagement, and trust.
